The art of Melinda Morey

Melinda Morey's sensibilities are imbued with the colors, textures and spirit of her native home - Kauai. Her love and understanding of Hawaiian culture and history are apparent in her work. Melinda's work is in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art, New York, Hawaii's State Foundation on Culture and the Arts, and The ontemporary Museum on Oahu. Along with being a fine artist, Morey has an established career as a commercial mural artist, with clients ranging from Tokyo, Japan, to Santiago, Chile. Her commissioned work can also be found throughout the state of Hawaii.
