Scott Green

A long-time resident of Hawaii, Big Island artisan Scott Green, carves his large set of the Hawaiian Islands out of solid Hawaiian Koa.   Scott has been a fan of maps and topography for a long time and each island is topographically accurate. Says Scott, “Each piece of koa I carve is different and it is always an adventure to see how the grains of the wood enhance the artwork.”

With the correct placement of the islands and measuring from Niihau (left) to the Big Island of Hawaii (right) Scott’s Island chain will cover 8 feet of wall space.
