Now retired from a successful career as an electrical engineer, he has embraced his artistic calling, specializing in crafting exquisite pieces from the treasured Hawaiian koa wood found on his 3.5-acre ocean view ranch. With 24 mature koa trees providing a sustainable source of this precious hardwood, his creations reflect his dedication to both artistry and environmental responsibility.
Each piece is a unique work of art, showcasing Eric’s meticulous craftsmanship and innovative designs. From elegant bowls and vases to clocks and laminated exotic hardwood masterpieces, his work highlights the inherent beauty of koa wood, accentuated by meticulous fine sanding and flawless 12- to 14-coat polyurethane finishes.
