Clarissa Dunlap

Originally from Brazil, Clarissa is grateful to be able to express her relationship with the Hawaiian Islands through a unique style of artwork created on wood, using a wood burning pen and mixed media.   “My color palette is an analogy of the ancient Kapa prints in brown, white and charcoal and inspired by the ancient people who once inhabited the islands.  It is a celebration of human life in harmony with nature.”  Clarissa has been a resident of Hawaii for 16 years and has a degree in visual arts and a lifetime experience as an artist.
