Christi Cafferata
In 1974, Christine Cafferata received a scholarship and used it to learn watch repair and was later commended as a Master Watchmaker. She continued her studies apprenticing for a professional jeweler who had one of the largest collections of colored stones in the US. He shared his love and knowledge of stones freely and during this time she was able to work with some of the top jewelry designers of our time. Her jewelry today is considered wearable artwork. She stretches the limits of techniques and materials to create something new and exciting and is constantly searching the world for new gemstones and techniques.
