Vessel Trio Number 1

A fallen palm sheath creates this vessel. Formed while wet and hand stitched with waxed linen, the vessel contorts and flows into a new shape upon drying. Handmade paper trims the bottom of the vessel, which is weighted with a wooden base, while the top appears ruffled with the natural edge of the palm sheath. The band is made from philodendron sheaths.
