Niʻihau Collectors’ Lei, 22″ 6-Strand Kipona Crochet

This extremely rare, Crochet-style weave lei features Momi ke’oke’o (dove shells, white) with Kahelelani (turban shells) in the colors o’mao o’mao (green), ‘ula’ula (burgundy), and ākala pua (flower pink). Very difficult design to achieve!

Finished with two cowrie shells and a traditional hook-and-eye clasp.
