Description
This 10-Strand 52” Lāiki Lei was one of the last leis crafted by Ella Kanahele who is sadly no longer able to sew lei. Born and raised on Niʻihau, Ella learned the arduous task of collecting and sorting shells at the age of seven and under the tutelage of her mother, Kalei Pua, she was an accomplished lei maker by the age of nine.
