MAUI HANDS GALLERY AT 612 FRONT STREET IN LAHAINA PRESENT MIXED MEDIA ARTIST, CHRIS LARSON, EVERY FRIDAY IN JUNE FROM 4:30PM - 7:30PM. A COLLECTION OF NEW WORKS WILL BE ON DISPLAY WHILE SHE PAINTS LIVE IN THE GALLERY.

Chris Larson’s artistic journey began at age thirteen when she took an art class from her oil painter mother. Her journey continued merrily into watercolor, acrylic, charcoal, graphic design and photography.

Chris says she loves how color, light and shadows visually define objects and enjoys using watercolors and acrylics to express that look in her paintings. She also enjoys taking her original photos through a series of creative processes and hand enhancements to get a vivid watercolor painting effect while staying true to the vision of her original image.

COME BY AND MEET THIS ARTIST THURSDAY JUNE 4TH FROM 11:00AM - 3:00PM AND FRIDAY JUNE 19TH FROM 3:00PM - 7:00PM DURING THE MAKAWAO TOWN 3RD FRIDAY PARTY. SHE WILL BE DEMONSTRATING AND EXPLAINING HOW HER WORK IS MADE.

Growing up in Hawaii, Aloha Kissed founder Jeannie Randall, discovered the jungle to be an endless playground full of magic and adventure. Travel and design studies lead to years abroad in Thailand, India, Italy, London and Paris where she constantly sought out treasures to share back in the islands. Blessed to return home, Aloha Kissed grew out the desire to participate in the local movement of creative expression and community supported business.

Keri Meyer is a highly trained jeweler blessed with many influences from great art teachers and is continuously testing the edges of design and method in the creation of her jewelry pieces. In the many years of silversmithing, she has accumulated an impressive list of exhibitions and shows in both California and Hawaii. This is a jeweler to keep an eye out for as she becomes more and more known and collectable!

Fine artist, Ariel Quiroz, enjoys drawing, painting, portraiture and the human figure, mixing realistic effects with Impressionism and Expressionism. He has been participating in competitions, exhibitions, and artistic projects in visual art including theater and short films since 1995. Ariel conveys and evokes emotions and ideas, whether philosophical, aesthetic or spiritual, to stimulate the imagination and translate feelings into interesting images, that invite independent thinking and responses of joy and the value of humanity. Born in Chile in 1981, Ariel ventured to Brazil, México and now Maui to share his exquisite talent.

Richard DiGiacomo, of Russian and Italian descent, is an accomplished artist who is known for his innovative approach to coloration. As a master of his craft, Richard has been nationally rated in the top 5% in his field for his coloration techniques. For more than 35 years, he has worked with celebrities, noted interior designers and leading institutions. His work has earned numerous awards of excellence, has been displayed regularly on television and has been featured on radio. Transplanted to Maui, Hawaii in 2010, Richard was ascended to a new level of artistic ability with his newly-created metal fused art. Created by the etching of aluminum panels and color, and fused with various techniques, his technique calls for many coats of clear seals, applied to create depth and movement.
