Christina Seefeldt and Thomas Fistler are the two artists and jewelry designers behind the name Pratima Design. Born and raised in Germany they have traveled and lived in many places around the world. After falling in love with the charm and inspiration of the Hawaiian Islands, they settled in Maui on the slopes of Haleakala. Along with their skills in jewelry design, they have a background and training in classical music and instrument making. Growing up in a culturally and artistically rich environment, their style of jewelry design is a reflection and transformation of that rich history and can be truly said to be contemporary.

With a love for simplicity and a reverence for detail their jewelry is not an overloaded accumulation of precious metal and gemstones, but rather a carefully handcrafted, proportionally balanced and inspired creation that uses materials consciously. This is the reason why jewelry from Pratima Design has an appearance of serene modernity and classical elegance. The company name Pratima Design means beautiful image and that is certainly reflected in their designs. Coming from the European tradition of jewelry making, many of their pieces are hand-constructed in the old, traditional way, rather than being cast. This way of manufacturing along with a love for precision and a perfect finishing by hand make jewelry by Pratima Design unique and exceptional.
