The art of Kate Starr

Kate Starr is a jewelry maker who lives on Maui. Her career path has been a meandering one and her varied experience has generated a unique look. Unable to satisfy the need for treats in this new, no-carb, low-fat world as a pastry chef, Kate has taken to creating colorful jewels that look good enough to eat. These 'candy necklaces' are designed to withstand humid summers but remain playful enough to inspire a regular practice of playing dress-up.
