The art of Scott Mead

Scott Mead began his photographic career at the age of 16, capturing automobiles, plants, landscapes, and wildlife on film, and had a successful career as a freelance photographer and journalist. He decided to focus his creativity toward his true love -- the islands of Hawaii - where his family has noho kai (lived by the sea) since 1975. Ever since moving to Hawaii, he has continually sought out Hawaii's diverse and unspoiled landscape, and camera in hand, strives to preserve this small piece of Aloha through his fine art photography.
