The art of Patrick Ku'aimoku

Patrick Ku'aimoku was born and raised in Honolulu and now resides in the Big Island of Hawaii and says "my ancestors lived on these islands for thousands of seasons; I am very happy to be part of this history". Patrick says about his drums, "After I built my first drum, I was not satisfied, because it did not have the sound I still have in my ears from the memories of my childhood. I experimented a great deal until, finally, the sound is now in the drums the way I remembered. These drums have incredible mana of good fortune and each is one of a kind. Some are sassy, some are royal and some are powerful." Each drum has it's own personality. Patrick's drums have participated in sacred ceremonies and rituals and he happily loans his drums to the island’s Kahuna (spiritual teachers).
