The art of Bob Hoffmeyer
At age 65, after a lifelong career in business and many years of appreciating and purchasing glass art, Bob began working with glass himself. He began with a community college class learning the technique of fusing (melting) pieces of glass together to make plates, bowls, and pendants. Within weeks this led to a desire to learn the art of making handmade beads and he began sharing a studio with the Arroyo Road Bead Collective in Forest Knolls, California. As finished beads and pendants began to pile up he then took classes in precious metal fabrication and found a mentor to work with him on jewelry design.
