Fascinated by the sport and tradition of canoe paddling in our islands Bill researched the history and design of Polynesian canoes and in doing so gained a great respect for their builders, voyagers and navigators. In an effort to express his respect for these fine men and their achievements, Bill has created these highly crafted replica koa canoes for you to own and display proudly. Each piece is individually designed and executed using the finest Hawaiian Koa, inlaid and trimmed with koa, ebony or purple heart and hand tied lashings for authenticity.
