The art of Tania Arens

Tania Arens was born in NYC in 1969, to German immigrants. Her father was a successful graphic designer and illustrator and her mother was a talented painter. She attended the prestigious Staedel Schule of Art in Frankfurt from 1988 to 1993. Finding more inspiration outside of the classroom, she painted in junk yards, graveyards, rock and roll bars, and on the streets of Frankfurt, Turkey, Greece, and Morocco. In 2000, she landed on the island of Maui, Hawaii where she currently lives and works in Tattooing, Painting and Printmaking.
